She later became a fashion illustrator and deputy head of fashion at St Martin’s School of Art in London and was the principal lecturer in the fashion school for thirty years. For many years she covered the Paris collections for British magazines and newspapers including The Daily Telegraph.
Just before her 85th birthday we received this letter..... ..... and on the 3rd April 2012, Su passed away
Jo Brocklehurst Portraitist of the London punk "In Elizabeth Suter's drawing class at St Martin's School of Art in the early 1970s, Jo Brocklehurst was difficult to miss, a tall figure with long jet-black hair under a broad-brimmed hat pulled down low (even while drawing)."
