After a short period in property renovation set up a lettings buiness in High Wycombe under Jeffrey Milner (Property Management) Ltd. This was incorporated into Frank Farr and Sons in 1984. When Frank Farr and Sons was acquired by the Leeds Permanent Building Society(which later became part of The Halifax)
In the late 1980's an additional letting office was added and he had overall responsibility for the lettings and magement of several hundred properties. Frank Farr & Sons was re-branded Frank Farr. In the late 1990' he set up a lettings department in Beaconsfield, Bucks and was involved in the buy out of the Beaconsfield office from the Halifax and became a Director of Tennysons/Aitchisons.
In late 2001 he established the The JNP Partnership's letting office. He remained as a consultant with JNP Estate Agents until 2017. He has served on the National Council of ARLA (The Association of Residential Letting Agents) for two years and on the Buckinghamshire branch of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) .
He was a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) from 1985 till 2018 and Member of Association of Letting Agents (ARLA) till 2018, He is a member of the National Landlords Association (NLA) and has been a member of the Irish Property Owners' Association (IPOA)
Philip Suter's grandfather ran a very successful insurance brokers up until the late 1930's F. M. Milner & Company Incorporated Insurance Brokers in the City of London, that was based at 7/8 Poultry, Cheapside, EC2 and at Lloyds. Since 2001 Philip has been involved with marketing insurance products on line, including property insurance and car hire excess waiver insurance.
